FYP President
Jodie Nash
“What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” - Mary Oliver. Poem 133: The Summer Day
Jodie Nash originally attended the University of Missouri, Columbia (“Go MIZZOU!”) and now resides in Houston as an IT Internal Auditor at Live Nation. She originally joined FYP Houston due to her inspiration from her mother, who also has heavy involvement with the Houston community. Jodie’s mom connected her with previous FYP president Mylene Supan, who helped her start off her illustrious career in FYP Houston as Treasurer.
Jodie’s deep love of volunteering and the lifelong friends she’s made in FYP Houston encouraged her to advance her responsibilities and serve multiple roles in FYP. As a result of her tireless dedication, Jodie now serves as our current president for the 2025-2026 term! Her long-term goal is to leave FYP Houston better than she found it, with current projects including helping FYP Board memberships becoming an even more sustainable role by building out processes and finding technology that help make leadership positions as easy, efficient, and productive as possible.
In her spare time, Jodie is an avid yogi, hula hooper, and spending time with her main loves - her two dogs, cat, and husband.
In her own words:
“Joining FYP was the best decision of my life, and you get out of it what you put into it! If you’re looking for friends and to make a difference in the community, you’ve come to the right place!”
