About Filipino Young Professionals of Houston (FYP)

• FYP was developed with the understanding that there is a need to provide professionals with diverse opportunities for networking, professional development, community involvement, and public service.  Originally created as an avenue to promote the Filipino culture to young professionals in the city of Houston, FYP has evolved to engage, connect and empower professionals from all over the world!  Through its activities and events, FYP continuously ensures that its members, its friends and supporters in the local and global communities, and future generations will maintain Filipino cultural knowledge and awareness.  FYP encourages its members to take an active role in educating themselves, and others, in the rich heritage and culture of the Philippines.  FYP also provides its members with multiple opportunities to organize and participate in philanthropic initiatives benefitting the local and international community. Moreover, FYP holds frequent networking socials to foster an environment of friendship and promote professional relationships.
